Aladdin Jr.

On Tuesday March 4, the PreK and K-1 students will be taking a field trip to see the Christian Youth Theater production of Aladdin Jr. at the Bing Crosby Theatre. The show starts at 10:00 a.m. so we will be leaving the church at 9:30. We need parent volunteers to drive in each of the classes. Forms and money must be turned in to Janie in the church office by Friday, March 1 so that we can secure our seats. The cost is $5 which must be cash. There is room for parents and siblings as well. Preschoolers have this exciting experience to look forward to next year!

“I really love being human. But some days I really wish I could be fairy.”
― Greta, Age 4

As of the first of February, registration has been opened to the public. We currently have two classes that are full and have begun waiting lists for those classes. If you wish to secure a slot for next year, please check with Kim to see what is open and available first.

Important Notes Home:

  • Snacks are needed again. We are still swimming in Goldfish (Ha-ha) but could use pretzels, graham crackers, Ritz crackers, fruit, or other safe snack ideas.
  • Read to Ride forms are due on Friday March 1. I hope you’ve been able to take advantage of this is wonderful opportunity to earn a ticket to Silverwood while enjoying some snuggly family reading through these long winter months. ❄️
  • The Lion’s club will be providing free Vision and Hearing screens for all of our students in March. Permission slips will be going home if you would like to participate.

Things your kids say…

“Do you like my face?”

Said to confused bystander in the hallway as child eventually produces a self portrait.
Girl: “I’m going to marry you when we grow up.”

Boy: “I’m sorry, but I’m going to live with my sister when I grow up.”

On Valentines Day the children were treated to some fun songs by a barbershop quartet!
