Journey to the Cross
This past week we again set up our Journey to the Cross in our sanctuary. Stations were set up which brought the story of the events of Jesus’ last hours to life with simple sensory displays to accompany the telling of the story. Every one of our children were able to experience it. They smelled the vinegar that Jesus was offered when he was thirsty, we saw a thorny crown used to harm and mock him after his arrest, and placed your hands in water like Jesus used to wash the feet of the disciples as he taught us how to serve one another. It is so gratifying to witness the fledgling yet steadfast faith of your children. Thank you for letting us be a part of nourishing it.
