The day was beautiful and relaxed as the kids were able to explore and experience the farm. We were joined by numerous siblings and parents which made the day all the sweeter.
The next event on our calendar is our Reformation Day celebration next Thursday, October 31 @ 10:30. Kids can wear costumes to school. Mrs. Loring’s classes are invited to come join the fun even though it is not your class day or time. The kids learn a little, play games, and enjoy the fun! We just ask for costumes without sticks, scepters, weapons, or any element hazardous for a large group of 3-6 year olds, and no evil or frightening costumes. Siblings welcome, and parents can dress up too if they would like! The morning classes will occur as normal and parents are welcome to join us at 10:30 for the fun!
In chapel we learned about Zacchaeus and the 7th commandment – you shall not steal.
We are continuing to look at the character quality of Kindness.
Some of the children heard a faith story about Monica – a faithful Mother who prayed for her son Augustine. Augustine went on to be a great man of God. Here’s to faithful prayerful mothers!
